Automobile interior inspection scheme

The headspace method uses a headspace sampler and gas chromatograph. The sampling method is relatively simple, and the sampling is completed in the headspace sampler. 2 grams of samples were taken from the test sample and put into a 20ml headspace bottle, which was kept warm and balanced at 120℃ for 60min. Then a certain amount of gas was extracted from the headspace bottle with a syringe, and analyzed by gas chromatograph and FID detector.

1.Test basis

This scheme is based on THE European standard VDA277 in ISO/TS16949, and is also a common method for measuring benzene hydrocarbon volatile organic compounds in European automotive enterprises.

2.Detection indicators

Nonmetallic materials in automotive interior include benzene, toluene, xylene, ethylbenzene, styrene, formaldehyde, tetradecane, etc.
